Net Impact is a national network of graduate students and alumni committed to using the power of business to create a better world. It is also the most progressive and influential network of MBAs (more than 5000) in existence today. Net Impact’s central office and 50 local chapters offer a portfolio of programs to help members broaden their business education, refine their leadership skills, and pursue their professional goals, while building their network. The Freeman chapter was founded in 2001.
Our MissionFor free enterprise to continue as the wealth creation tool as we know it, it becomes increasingly necessary to establish a sustainable environment in which to operate. Today's business environment encompasses the entire, and oft-times volatile world. A sustainable environment begins with acknowledgement of social responsibility, commitment to ethical business practices, and the integrity to act accordingly. Tomorrow's successful businesses are those that commit to social responsibility today - at the behest of their leaders. Our mission is to gain commitment to these principles by business leaders; especially those of tomorrow.
Our Goals1) Raise awareness of social and environmental issues that affect business 2) Offer networking opportunities in alternative career choices for Net Impact members 3) Promote the A. B. Freeman School of Business through participation in the national Net Impact organization
